THE BRA FITTING GUIDE:
How to identify a poor fit
Band riding up back? Band is too big, go down band size, up cup size.
Band cutting off circulation? Band is too large, go up band size, down cup size.
Breast spilling over cup? Cup size is too small, go up cup size.
Breast not filling cup adequately (and or, cup wrinkles or ripples)? Cup size too large, go down cup size.
Armpit/back fat evident? Cup size too small, go up cup size, down band size (counter intuitive, I know, but try some on in a smaller size and see how it fits for you). Also, scoop n swoop!
Gore not touching chest? Cup size too small, go up cup size.
Straps digging in shoulders? Loosen straps. Noticeable sagging? Band size too big, go down band size, go up cup size.
Underwires digging into sides/armpit area? Bend underwires to your desired comfort level. Unattainable? Try a bra with shallower underwires (that don't go back so far as your armpit area).
REMEMBER THAT CUP SIZES AND BAND SIZES ARE PROPORTIONATE TO EACH OTHER. If you adjust the band size, the cup size needs to be adjusted as well. (38A = 36B = 34C = 32D, etc.)
