A garment bag, also known as a laundry bag, delicates bag, lingerie wash bag, or mesh wash bag, is an invaluable tool when washing lingerie or other delicates in a washing machine. It is a small, washing machine-safe pouch made of mesh. By placing delicates and lingerie inside the mesh bag, then putting the entire bag inside the washing machine, the bag protects the contents from ripping, snagging, or tangling during the wash process. This is especially vital for bras, as bras have hooks which snag and straps which tangle.
